Love... Solitude... Devotion... Virtue... Hope... Sorrow...

I'll Be Here... I Promise...

Boy
Hope... Virtue... Solitude... Devotion... Sorrow... Love...

what is the general definition of "Mummy's Boy"?

a grown up man cries like a baby after small set backs
coward behind his mother after being bullied
what normally comes out from his mouth starts with "my mother say"
unabling to leave his mother for even a short while
are those and more others that defines "Mummy's Boy"?
maybe so

but a mummy's boy can also be define differently aint it?
someone who would hold his mother's hand once every while
occassionally give a hug to the woman who gave him life
buy somethings to pamper his mother just because she deserve it
quietly sit beside his mum in the night and watch her sleep
talk and listen to her no matter how tired he is
can that be defined as a mummy's boy?
maybe not because most people would call that "Filial Piety"
but be it "Mummy's Boy" or "Filial Son"
it doesn't change the fact that we are born into this world with our mother screaming in pain for hours

i recalled a friend saying "we shouldn't stick to our mother too much... because we know eventually one day they will be gone before us"
i retort "precisely she will be gone long before us, thats why we should make use of the time we have to care for them"
what my friend had meant was that if we are too close and we lose her
the time and effort needed to mend the lost would be great
i agree
but i'll still stick to being a mummy's boy
simply because she is my mother =)
