Step Up 2: The Streets

The Official Trailer

The Movie Mash Up
Music: Flo Rida - Low

It's not where you're from. It's where you're at.

Storyline sets in MSA - Maryland School for the Arts the prestigious school of performing arts in Baltimore, as we follow the footsteps of a rebellious street dancer Andie.
Andie (Briana Evigan) may show great talent as a dancer, but she just can't seem to let go of her old life and get a fresh start. With Baltimore's hottest underground dance contest; The Streets, looming around the corner, Andie's enrollment of MSA forces her out of her streets crew, The 410
Rejected and dejected, Andie is approached and convinced to set up a new crew with top dancer Mr. Popular - Chase Collins (Robert Hoffman), outcast Moose (Adam G. Sevani) and several exiled schoolmates.
Jealousy and wrath took over the crews of 410, vandalising the dance studio of the MSA. The director of the school Blake Collins (Will Kemp), brother of Chase, puts the blame on our female protagonist and expelled her.
With only one shot to prove her worth and risking her crewmate's future on the line, Andie, Chase and the talented oddballs has to step up to the streets and show the world what they've got.

Felicia
Hope... Virtue... Solitude... Devotion... Sorrow... Love...

wad a day at work yesturday...
calling up all the officers from SWO to LTC
asking them stuffs and some of them seems pissed
not at me of cos
but rather i suppose something happened in their camp

anyway its a night out with felicia after work
meet her at city hall around 6.30PM
reserved two places for dinner and desserts
first we proceed to Esplanade for the ichiban boshi restaurant
quite a nice cosy classy ambience i must say
the lights are dimly lit
the furnitures are furbished dark brown maple-like
and i dunno if felicia notice
however there is a hint of freshness in that restaurant...
probably its just the freshness scent of the sashimi and ice
but nonetheless
its still somehow or rather had abit of theraputic effect on me
seeing how stress i am from daily stuffs i had to handle
the staff also proves to be friendly and efficient
we were ushered to the reserved table as soon as i give my name
one wave of hand and comes a waiter at our service
one request of change of drinks and the next second it comes
it may not be the "Best Service Award" for the centuary or anything
however it still deserves some applause and thumbs up =)

ok, enough of the deco and service
here comes the main topic of the night... FOOD
they had a wide selection of cooked dishes
up to 7 selection of sashimi platter
and like 7 pages of ala carte sushi for us to order
read carefully... HALF of the sushi are specially invented
cheese salmon... rainbow roll... hokaido maru...
all of which are at a good quality presentation
i'd say that the price for a plate is highly under-priced
not complainning, much of good news to us of cos ^_^
what is limited there is the drinks thou...
i din take much look since the sushi selection alrdy dazzled me
but i do recall the drink page to be quite empty
all in all i had a headache looking at the selection
and i made a simple choice...
"Felicia... tell you what...
you will do the ordering... i will do the paying"
hahaha!
and its either felicia made good choices
or all the food there are fabulous!

we ordered a platter of sashimi
a plate of cheese salmon sushi
a plate of cheese mayo crabmeat sushi(?)(shit i forgot the name!)
a plate of hokaido maru sushi
a plate of rainbow roll
a plate of unagi egg
and a warm bottle of sake
need me go on description of the taste?
..............
.....

............

.....................
................
nah
go try it out yourself
all i can say it that the unagi is the best
and the sake is one of the best hard liqour i had ever tried

shortly after the dinner
the duo of us went over to Max Brenner for desserts
pretty much a quiet cute little place
it lacks the ambience feel unlike ichiban
without the classy feeling and fresh scent of sashimi
Max Brenner replaces it with a warm cosy whiff of chocolates
we settled down and flip thru the menu
much of the signature dish like the souffles are unavailable...
wad a pity...
but anyway we settled in with suckao and chocolate fondue
suckao is a chocolate drink displayed in a candle holder
but of cos u dun pour the chocolate into the holder
wad is inside the holder is a tin cup
THATS where you pour your chocolate into
its a self service kind of drink
where by u add in chocolates pellets and warm milk
stir and drink and add in more chocs/milk as u please
free flow of milk (i think) and a small plate of pellets
very nice! a perfect drink for a cold weather like yesturday
small information for all
suckao comes from 2 words: suck, and kakao
suck... means suck lah, u suck the drink from the metal straw
kakao is actually... spanish if i am not wrong
it mean cocoa - Chocolate!
next comes the chocolate fondue
it came in two small clay fondue set
with 2 plates of fruits and bread
for most of the selection in Max Brenner
i am guessing that they will always give u the choice of;
dark chocolate
milk chocolate
or white chocolate
both of us had dark chocolate for suckao
and for the fondue we choosed dark and milk chocolate
felicia basically finished all the fruits
and i took very good care of the breads
which is so so so fresh, i can just eat it on its own

it was a relaxing enjoyable night out
how i wish there are more chances to go on such dates
oh just a note to everyone reading
felicia is just a good fren
Alan READ, i know she is your girl hahaha

here are all the photos we took yesturday =)
