Love... Solitude... Devotion... Virtue... Hope... Sorrow...

I'll Be Here... I Promise...

Pieces
Hope... Virtue... Solitude... Devotion... Sorrow... Love...

every day, every way, every where
we always encounter set backs and bottom periods
if our hearts are consist of small pieces
which adds together to form a puzzle of heart shape
then set backs are guns that shoots down the pieces

scolded by our superior
faulted by our friends
late for appointment
loved ones not understanding
mistake done in our own work
a dear friend leaving
falling sick
stress on daily lifestyle
and many more gunshots
all of which breaks down the puzzles one by one
and bit by bit our life seems to fade
we find no more meaning to our lives
we have already lost so many pieces
our heart doesn't seem whole anymore

but look carefully again
the pieces that are still standing
wad are they to u?
they are the ones that remain strong
i looked closely at mine
she is there for me all the time
she wakes me up in the morning
she bid me goodbye as i go for work
she smile and welcome me home no matter how late
she covers me in my blanket when it gets cold
she opens my window when the night gets warm
she is the one that made me slp in the night comfortably
she fill me with a warm piece of puzzle inside
she is the reason i fret
but she is the reason i smile

she is my mum

who or what is your remainning pieces of puzzle?
don't say there is none
that is just the aftermath of the gunshots
look closely again and again and again
for there will always be one
